Our Missions Pastor / Church Administrator, Joe Veres

Professional

Joe and his family have been a part of Forest Baptist Church for many years, and in September 2007 he was hired to be our Church administrator and Minister of Missions. Joe brings to our church twenty years of experience in business administration and a demonstrated commitment to missions. For the eight years prior to coming on board, he worked at Genworth Financial, and he has a degree in Business Adminstration from Averett University.

Family

Joe has been married to his wife April since 1987. They have two children, Joseph, who will graduate from Cedarville University in 2010, and Kyle a rising sophomore at Virginia Tech.

Missions

The Veres family has been involved in missions for many years. Joe has taken trips to Nigeria, Macau, Costa Rica, Mexico, Romania, Brazil (with April), and Thailand (10 times and counting). The whole family has participated in many different trips including:
