While I firmly and gladly support homeschooling (in fact our family is planning on homeschooling our children), this is precisely what Christian young people who attend public (even private/Christian) schools should be doing.
The Great Commission has no age limits (neither young or old). And trust me, public schools are genuine “mission fields” full of “unreached people groups” (e.g. freaks/goths, jocks, geeks, loners/slackers, and all the other teen aged cliques) that need Jesus.
Expose your kids to missions as early as possible…for their sake, for the world’s sake, for the gospel’s sake, and for Christ’s sake.
Train your kids to be “little witnesses for our big God!”
